Quick Thought

I stumbled upon this website by accident while researching something else. Do people really still think like this in this day and age?

Yes, it's unfortunately true that the KKK represents the views of a surprising number of people. More than one elected official has or had ties to the Klan (Senator Strom Thurmond, for example). A former Klan member, David Duke, was a candidate in the South; and he got an alarming number of votes. Many people like me believe that the Republicans are bigots to the core, despite their protests to the contrary. That's why the Klan never endorses political candidates. If they told the truth, they'd be for Bush/Cheney; and they're afraid they'd hurt the image of the Republicans.
